Codes of Ethics and Best Research Practices

Codes of Ethics and Best Research Practices

The journal adheres to the Code of Conduct and Best Practice established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) (Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors and Code of Conduct for Journals Publishers).

In fulfillment of this code, the journal will ensure the scientific quality of the publication and the proper response to the needs of both authors and readers. The code addresses all the parts involved in the editorial process of the journal. The Editorial Committee commits itself to publish corrections, amendments, retractions and/or apologies in case these were pertinent.

The contents of the manuscripts submitted to the journal must exclusively result from ethical and legal processes of scientific research. The submitted manuscripts must not contain bibliographical biases related to personal and/or particular interests. The financial support sources that allowed the research, totally or partially, must be mentioned in the manuscripts.

Conflicts of Interests

The authors must inform the journal any commercial, financial or particular link with people or institutions that could have interests related with the articles published in the journal.
