Abstract

In this paper we reflect on meanings and practices set into motion around the archaeological materials that integrate the collections of the Interpretation Indigenous Center “El Antigal” (San Pedro city, Buenos Aires Province), which is managed by the Lma Iacia Qom people. Founded in 2009, this space fosters a series of activities to preserve and express the indigenous culture, articulating the investigation and rescue of its history with claims of self-recognition and strengthening of their identity.
